T-REX

Hunt Down TPF Code That Wastes Resources
TPF applications that use too many resources degrade system performance. Unfortunately, with existing tools it is difficult to see the problem. T-REX (Transaction Recording and EXamination) allows programmers to immediately identify which applications are using resources. T-REX does this by providing comprehensive information about resource utilization at several levels, and by giving you the graphical tools to see what is going on.
  • Transaction Level - All resources used by the transaction. Identifies all the ECBs.
  • ECB Level - All resources used at the ECB level. Identifies programs and functions.
  • Individual Program/Function Level - All resources used at the program/function level, including the counts of macro/svc used.
